Charlotte Lewis Season 2 Episode 23

In this powerful episode, we dive into the difference between natural and spiritual discernment. In the world, we often see things through limited human understanding, but spiritual discernment, given to us through the Holy Spirit, allows us to see beyond the surface and follow God’s calling for our lives.

I’ll be sharing how others may try to influence your path, offering advice that seems good but may not align with God’s way. We’ll explore how spiritual discernment helps you recognize these distractions and stay focused on your divine assignment. You’ll learn how to lean into prayer, study the Word, and surround yourself with a supportive community to stay aligned with God’s will.

Get ready to strengthen your spiritual discernment and gain clarity on your calling—this episode is sure to inspire and equip you for the journey ahead!

  1. 1 Corinthians 2:14..."The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned."
  2. 1 John 4:1...Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world."
  3. Proverb 8:8-9..."All the words of my mouth are just; none of them is crooked or perverse. To the discerning all of them are right; they are faultless to those who have knowledge."
  4. Hebrew 5:11-13..."We have much to say about this, but it is hard to make it clear to you because you no longer try to understand. In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God’s word all over again. You need milk, not solid food! Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness."
  5. Hebrew 5:14..."But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil."
  6. Philippians 1:9-10... "And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ."
